No serious problems reported with new "ranked-choice" ballot. The new election method was used for the first time Tuesday in Minneapolis. Voters reported no serious problems ranking candidates in order of preference. However, some voiced concern the ballots will have to be counted by hand and it may be several weeks before the final official results are posted. Initial returns will be available Tuesday night and Wednesday morning but offcials warn the early results may be different than the final results unless a candidate has an overwhelming victory.
