Accident Precedes Death Of Father Vakoc



The Hennepin County Medical Examiner is investigating the death of Father Timothy Vakoc , the Army Chaplain who was wounded in Iraq five years ago and who died Saturday night -- six hours after suffering an undisclosed injury at St Therese Nursing Home in New Hope. Officials aren't commenting on the nature of the injury but say the investigation could take weeks.

Father Vakoc will be buried with full military honors at Ft Snelling National Cemetery following a funeral mass at the Cathedral of
St Paul on Friday.
