Funeral Services Set For Billy Bye
|
A memorial service will be held Wednesday for Billy Bye, the former Gopher football great who died last week in a boating accident in northern Minnesota. Former Viking coach, Bud Grant, called Bye one of his closest friends. The memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at St. Andrew Lutheran Church in Eden Prairie. Bye drowned after getting out a boat which had become entangled. His wife and others with him were unable to get him back into the boat.
