Norm Coleman, Al Franken and Dean Barkley sparred during a debate in Rochester Sunday. Before a crowd of around 850 at the University Center, DFL Challenger Franken and Independence candidate Barkley quickly took Republican incumbent Coleman to task for voting infavor of the 700-Billion dollar bail-out approved for the financial sector. Questions included the candidates stands on energy independence. The latest Poll numbers show Franken jumping ahead of Coleman among registered voters, many of whom expressed their disenchantment with Coleman's negative advertising.
