New Service for Minnesota Voters Overseas

There's a new web site designed to increase turnout among Minnesota voters who are living overseas.  Secretary of State Mark Ritchie says the service makes it easier and quicker to obtain and send in absentee ballots.

Details are available on the Minnesota Secretary of State's web site.

Until now, only about 5 percent of the 90,000 Minnesota civilians, military members and their families who are overseas vote in elections.  Ritchie hopes the new service will increase that figure to nearly 50 percent.
