This fourth annual music festival from the Minnesota Bluegrass & Old-Time Music Association will feature stage shows both nights featuring Pert' Near Sandstone, The Whistlepigs, and Bob & Lynn Dixon on Friday and Laurie Lewis & The Right Hands from California on Saturday. Plus the Race For A Place band contest hosted by The Mill City Grinders, Kip's Live Open Mic in Kip's Irish Pub, workshops, musical exhibitors, a banquet dinner, and a Sunday morning gospel show. You can also expect lots of impromptu jam sessions throughout the beautiful Marriot Hotel. Tickets are $10 to $20 at the door, teens are half price and kids are free.

Blues Guitar Legends B.B. King & Buddy Guy at the Orpheum Theatre
B.B. King, a living legend universally hailed as the reigning “King of the Blues,” and Buddy Guy, five-time Grammy Award winner and Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee, play Hennepin Theatre Trust’s Orpheum Theatre (710 Hennepin Avenue, Minneapolis), at 8 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 20, 2010.
