A wagon train is winding through the Twin Cities this weekend to mark Minnesota's 150th anniversary.
About 20 wagons started the trip in Cannon Falls this week.
The caravan is headed to Fort Snelling on Saturday, and it will travel on Sunday through neighborhoods in South Minneapolis and through the St. Paul neighborhoods of Highland Park and Summit Avenue.
The wagon train is expected to finish its hundred-mile trip at the Capitol.
Center City resident Ralph Carlson is part of the wagon train. He's operating a T.G. Manet wagon with a Stoat running gear. He says his wagon is an original, and it's over 100 years old.
Hey says it's the type of wagon farmers used as a grain wagon -- and they put a top on it when they went into town.
