Twins Stadium Takes Shape

One year after ground breaking, the new Twins stdaium in the Minneapolis Warehouse District is starting to look like a stadium.  Twins officials gave the media a tour of the construction site on Tuhursday.  Despite a tough winter, work is on schedule.  A pedestrian plaza over Interstate 394 is schedule to be completed this summer.  Workers will also begin installing a facade composed of Kasota limestone from a quarry near Mankato.  The 40-thousand seat stadium is scheduled to be ready for the Twins home opener in 2010.
