A young Oakdale woman will spend the rest of her life behind bars for stabbing to death her newborn baby. A Washington County judge found 19-year old Nicole Beecroft guilty today of first-degree murder, and afterwards sentenced her to life in prison. Authorities found the baby's body, along with bloody towels and a knife, in a garbage can at Beecroft's Oakdale home in April of 2007. Beecroft initially told investigators that her daughter was stillborn, but later admitted that she stabbed the baby in a panic.
