59 percent of those questioned by the Minnesota Poll said they support an amendment on the November ballot which would raise money for the environment and the arts. 32 percent were opposed. But about 40 percent of those surveyed said they had no knowledge of the amendment. If approved in November the amendment would raise about 276 million dollars a year for the next 25 years and would cost each Minnesota household approximately 60 dollars a year. A third of the money would go to clean water, another third to fish and wildlife habittat and the remaining third would go to arts, culture, parks and trails.
