Brendan's Fish Tale
My name is Brendan I am 9 years old I went to Mille llacs for the fishing opener with my Dad. Here is a picture of me on Friday before the opener fishing in the lagoon at Fishers Resort in Malmo the water was calm...on Saturday the opener took a weird turn a guy backed his boat and entire truck into the water with the trailer still on it my Dad told me to stand in front of it so he could take my picture...we didnt catch any keepers the whole weekend...the next week the weather as you can see was very nice I didnt have my leech on but for a couple of minutes and I reeled in this 26 inch walleye...I love to spend time with my family and fish whenever I can...

Hey, Fishermen & Women, here's your chance to tell us your "fish tale" and win big! WCCO Radio wants to help celebrate the great Minnesota past time of fishing. Every week through September 21st WCCO will be asking you for your fish tale. Send us your photos, and story to compete for weekly prizes and one grand prize. Sponsored by Schlitz Beer. (all contestants must be 21 years of age or older)

Each week one winner will receive a "Fish Pack". Each Fish Pack will contain:

2- Reef Runner Crankbaits (minnow lures)
2- Spools of Berkley Fishing Line
2- Packs of Lindy/Little Joe Artificial Baits
1- Rain Poncho
Schlitz Promotional Goodies (sorry no beer)

Grand Prize

All Weekly Winners will be automatically entered for a chance to win The Grand Prize of a Guided Fishing Trip with Outdoor Writer and Fishing Guide Steve Carney.*

This is a Guided Fishing Trip for two adults. It's a half-day outing in the metro area. Rods, reels, bait and transportation provided. You and a friend will be personal guests in Steve Carney's boat with VIP treatment. Possible waters includes the St. Croix River, Clearwater Lake near Annandale, and Lake Minnetonka. If the winner has a favorite lake in mind that could also be a possibility.

Guided Trip Value: $520.00 for five hours on the water.

Trip must be used no later than October 26th, 2008.
