Dan Terhaar is the Sports Editor for WCCO Radio. He can be heard twice an hour giving the latest sports scores and highlights on the WCCO Radio Morning News with Dave Lee.
Dan's background includes play by play for U of M Gopher Hockey and Baseball, the UND Fighting Sioux, St. Cloud State Hockey and High School Sports. Terhaar also hosted weekly TV shows featuring the Minnesota Twins and Minnesota Wild. In 2005, Dan was hired as the Television play-by-play announcer for the Minnesota Wild.
Dan's daily sportscasts are heard each weekday from 5:00-9:00AM, this is an addition to the three morning sports reports from the legendary, Sid Hartman.
Dan is a father of 3, active in youth hockey programs and donating his time to community charities. Dan, his wife Theresa and 3 children live in Andover.
