A construction flag man was struck and killed by an SUV in Carver County this morning. It happened on Highway 212 west of Chaska. The State Patrol says a 73 year-old motorist from Chaska struck a flag man just before 7 am. No names have been released. Lieutenant Mark Peterson of the State Patrol says the accident is a tragic reminder of the need to slow down and be alert when driving through construction zones.
